2500 y.o. Silhouette

20140624205848_IMG_2228

This is the oldest Silhouette I’ve ever seen and pictured – the ancient ruins of Agrigento, Sicily.

These ancient greek temples are ones of the oldest monuments in the world, they are 2500 y.o. and if talking about the ancient Greece heritage in particular – they can compete with Athenes in terms of their condition and age.

Must thing to see being in Sicily! But please avoid crowds and heat – visit the valley of temples right before closing at about 6pm. The gates will be closed, you’ll walk alone and will see a beautiful sunset together with your close one. Only you, your imagination and maybe even some nice piano song coming from somewhere down the hill, far away from you.
